What kind of equipment do you use? All things Nikon :) Oh, and we love love love Sigma Art prime lenses. They are magical.
When is the best time to book? It’s often recommended to book a wedding photographer about 12 months in advance or as soon as possible, especially if your wedding is in the spring, summer or early fall.
How do we book you? Your date is officially booked after signing a contract and paying $500 retainer. Yes, we do accept credit cards and can simply send you an invoice via PayPal.
Can you hold our date? Unfortunately, I can’t. It’s an industry standard to work on first-come first-serve basis.
Do you shoot with a second shooter? Yes! You can read about us here: About
Do you have insurance? I sure do and will be happy to provide your venue with insurance certificate if needed.
Can I get information about your pricing? Sure! Just send me an e-mail and I will send you our current pricing. I don’t list all the pricing options on the website because we often tend to customize packages for couples. You may have your own vision and I’m happy to guide you through the process and work out something that’s best for you.
How many pictures will we receive? We usually deliver about 50-60 edited images per hour.
Do you offer an online gallery? Yes! It is a gorgeous and easy to navigate site. All of our clients receive password protected online gallery (password is certainly optional if you want to share the gallery easily). You can also view and order digital images, prints, canvas, etc. Your gallery will be active for 1 year. It makes sharing your special moments with your friends and family very easy! Please contact me if you would like to view a sample gallery. Here are some screenshots of our online gallery:
Do you provide a print release? Sure :) Feel free to print, enjoy and share your pictures with your friends and family. If you post anything on social media I would greatly appreciate if you could give me a credit by providing a link to my website or facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/VeronicaGrankinaPhotography
What about copyright? All images are copyrighted and cannot be altered (cropped, photoshopped, turned to black and white, etc.) or sold without our permission. I’ll be happy to assist you if you want to make any edits.
How long does it take to get our pictures? You will receive a flash drive with your pictures within to 2-4 week after the portrait photo shoot and within 4-6 weeks after your wedding. But we do try to get those to you much sooner :)
What do we get on a flash drive? You receive edited high-resolution jpeg images that you can use for printing and sharing with your family and friends. If you decide to print in large formats, please consult me. Large printing requires a special approach and certain resolution. I will be happy to assist you with that.
How do you backup your files? I’m extremely paranoid when it comes to backing up our files. Our beloved Nikon cameras shoot to two memory cards, which provides instant backup in case if one of the memory cards fails. We also back up files to three different places (computer, hard drive, online cloud) just in case. It is not unusual for couples to reach out to me 2-3 years after their wedding to check if I have a certain photo still available.
Do you offer prints, photo albums and canvas prints? Yes, all of the above! Please check with me for more details and latest overview of all the product. Prices vary depending on quantity, material and size.
Does it matter where we print our pictures? It definitely does. Unfortunately, non-professional labs do not offer that amazing quality that a professional lab can offer. Also the result is often inconsistent and unpredictable. With professional labs you can count on high quality. In addition, professional prints are printed on archival paper with archival inks that will not fade out with time and reflect great quality and clarity. You can also order prints via your online gallery and they will be delivered from the lab straight to your home.
